Job summary

Muncie Power Products, located in Yorktown, is seeking a Warranty Supervisor to lead the Warranty Department and drive timely resolutions for product issues. You will coordinate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience, strong communication, and a technical mindset to evaluate warranty claims, perform data analysis, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3 years bench assembly or related product knowledge preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service, warranty, quality, or leadership role preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Emotional intelligence and professional customer handling.
• Experience evaluating product issues and determining warranty resolutions.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn ERP/warranty systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations of customer inquiries and warranty issues and ensure timely resolutions.
• Prepare and communicate warranty and repair findings to customers.
• Supervise Warranty Department staff and set priorities for timely completion.
• Analyze warranty data and report trends for improvement opportunities.
• Chairs meetings and negotiates claims with customers as needed.
• Ensure ISO-related warranty and repair practices are followed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements and corrective actions.
