Job summary

Charlie Clark Auto Group, (AMARU) is seeking a qualified Warranty Cancellations Clerk to join our team in Harlingen, TX. The role focuses on processing and managing cancellations of extended vehicle warranties, insurance products, and service contracts within our accounting department.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and organized, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to learn and operate the onsite system.

Responsibilities

• Process new business contracts for extended warranties and insurance products.
• Process and post cancellations per lienholder and customer requests.
• Ensure all required documents are collected for cancellation.
• Process refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders.
• Maintain schedules and reconcile extended warranty/insurance items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currentlylooking to add a qualifiedWarranty Cancellations Clerkto join our team.

The Warranty Cancellations Clerk is responsible processing and managing the cancellation of extended vehicle warranties, insurance products, and service contracts within our accounting department

Responsibilities

• Process new business contracts for extended warranty and insurance products
• Process and post cancellations per lienholder requests, customer requests and cancellations per statements
• Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process
• Process refund checks for cancellations to customers or lienholders
• Maintain the schedules and work the reconciling items on the extended warranty/insurance reconciliations
• Other duties that may be assigned

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior automotive dealership experience a plus
• Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system
