Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and guide them to their tables. You will maintain a clean host stand, communicate wait times, and collaborate with the Front of House team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
