Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking an enthusiastic Host to greet guests and manage seating with a warm, guest-focused approach. You will open doors, guide guests to tables, and communicate wait times clearly, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth dining flow.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Able to stand for 8 hours or more per day.
• Able to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset and reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirement for FOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing tables as needed to maintain flow.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
