Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a Warehouse Loader/Unloader at our Allensville, KY facility. The role includes checking in containers, verifying paperwork, moving and unloading waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

You will lift 55lbs bins, weigh containers, and assist with the Washsmart system while maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time position with first-shift hours and required pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive setting.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lb containers and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and record weights accurately and follow PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Check in containers and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• Move/unload waste containers and operate a forklift to load an autoclave.
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
• Load the Washsmart system and ensure proper sanitation steps.
• Maintain attention to detail with documentation and teamwork.
• Stand for long periods and work comfortably in PPE.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse worker for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Allensville, KY. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!
• Previous experience in a warehouselabor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!

• Consistent work hours- Monday to Friday 1st Shift (7AM-3:30PM)
• Benefits: Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!
• DIRECT HIRE – This is a Full-time DIRECT HIRE of 40 hours per week!
• Competitive salary – This position is offering a set rate (non-Negotiable) of $19.00 per hour!
