Daniels Health is hiring a Loader/Unloader at our Indianapolis, IN facility. You will lift heavy bins, weigh containers, operate an autoclave and the Washsmart system, and keep precise paperwork for processing.

The role requires a valid driver's license, experience in a warehouse setting, and the ability to stand for extended periods in PPE. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• Experience in a warehouse labor-intensive role with repetitive lifting of 50–75 lbs.
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Be able to stand for extended periods in PPE.
• Demonstrated longevity with previous employers.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking to hire a Loader/Unloader for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Indianapolis, IN. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Must have a VALID driver's license!!
• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!
