Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a Warehouse worker at our Allensville, KY facility. The role involves lifting heavy bins, weighing waste containers, operating an autoclave and Washsmart system, and maintaining precise paperwork. You’ll work Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, in PPE, with team collaboration and steady hours.

This is a direct hire, full-time position offering benefits from day one and a $19.00/hour rate. Applicants must pass a 5-panel drug screen and a 7-year background check.

• Experience in a warehouse labor-intensive role with heavy lifting.
• Willingness to pass a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to pass a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.

Responsibilities

• Lift 55 lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers.
• Load/operate autoclave machine and Washsmart system.
• Provide accurate paperwork for container processing.
• Stand for extended periods and work in PPE.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse worker for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Allensville, KY. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouselabor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE
• Proven longevity with employers
• Can-do attitude!!
