Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Allensville, KY is seeking a Warehouse Loader/Unloader to handle medical waste containers, weigh incoming loads, and operate the autoclave and Washsmart systems. The role requires standing for long periods and teamwork.

You will lift 55lb bins, push carts, check paperwork, and maintain accuracy under PPE, with a Monday–Friday first shift and direct-hire status.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience with repetitive lifting.
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in PPE.
• Proven longevity with employers.
• Can-do attitude.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse worker for our Daniels' medical waste treatment facility in Allensville, KY. A Loader/Unloader has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, and operating a forklift to load an autoclave.

What will your job involve?

• Lifting 55lbs bins and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
• Weigh incoming sharps and medical waste containers
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Load the Washsmart system (container washing + sanitization system)
• Provide attention to detail with the paperwork required to process containers
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team!

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a warehouse labor-intensive job (repetitive lifitng of 50lbs to 75lb containers!!)
• Willingness to take a 5 panel urine drug screening
• Willingness to take a 7 year background check
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
