Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Training Specialist to lead onboarding and ongoing training for warehouse staff. You will develop training plans, deliver content, and assess employee readiness across roles in a distribution environment.

The role focuses on hands-on coaching, cross-training, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while supporting overtime needs and travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or similar
• Must take an MHE training class to administer equipment certifications to employees
• Be willing to train during any shift hours for new employees for at least 2 weeks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provides training for new hires and tenured employees
• Creates training plans and onboarding programs
• Coaches and motivates employees to meet production goals
• Drives engagement with each employee
• Coordinates trainings and re-certifications
• Observes training effectiveness and updates procedures
• Maintains training logs and conducts weekly meetings
• Learns and trains on all functions within the warehouse
