Job summary

Cardinal Health in Illinois seeks a Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations to support the Warehouse Supervisor with inbound/outbound management and to direct warehouse staff in line with priorities. You will help coordinate receipt of shipments and scheduling of inbound trucks, and you will produce reports on workforce productivity and quality.

The role also involves communicating with customers outside the warehouse to update delivery timeframes and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills.
• Willingness and ability to operate warehouse equipment (PIT preferred).
• Previous experience leading a team and sharing feedback with employees preferred.
• Prior knowledge working with WMS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate.
• Work closely with leadership team to ensure safety, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinating housekeeping, inventory control, and complying with all QRA and safety requirements and regulations.
• With supervisors, plan and coordinate daily workflow and assignments in alignment with warehouse priorities.
• Leading team meetings, including safety and quality discussions.
• Solving minor issues and general employee inquiries.
• Working in production as needed.
