Job summary

SpartanNash in Byron Center, MI, is seeking a Manager of Warehouse Training to deploy standardized training programs across distribution centers, coaching trainers, and elevating associate safety, retention, and performance.

You will lead train-the-trainer workshops, tailor curricula to local operations, and measure impact using data with a focus on adult learning principles and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, HR, or Organizational Development preferred.
• 3+ years in high-volume warehouse/distribution operations.
• 1+ year formal training experience demonstrating adult learning methodologies.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with ability to influence and mentor frontline associates.

Responsibilities

• Develop warehouse associates through structured coaching and training that elevates facility productivity.
• Apply adult learning principles and modern training methodologies to drive associate skill development.
• Ensure site-specific training curricula are tailored to local warehouse operational requirements.
• Conduct train-the-trainer workshops, evaluate trainer performance, and foster trainer retention.
• Leverage operational and safety data to measure training impact and implement continuous improvements.
