Job summary

SpartanNash, a food solutions company, is seeking a Manager of Warehouse Training for the Byron Center, Michigan facility. You will lead the deployment of a training experience that drives associate engagement and elevates performance, partnering with Operations Leadership to sustain initiatives.

You’ll develop programs, apply adult learning principles, tailor site-specific curricula, coach trainers, and leverage data to drive improvements. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years high-volume warehouse experience.
• 1+ years training experience with adult learning concepts.
• 2+ years in a leadership role influencing others.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and employee relations skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop warehouse associates through training and coaching to raise performance.
• Apply adult learning principles and coaching to elevate skill sets.
• Drive standardization with site-specific training programs.
• Identify training needs via data analysis and observations.
• Conduct and oversee training sessions and mentor trainers.
• Lead trainer development and monitor performance for various trainers.
• Share best practices with field training teams and implement them.
• Use data to assess impact of training and improve programs.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
