Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Bellefontaine, OH distribution site. You will supervise shipping, receiving, and storage activities, assign tasks, and ensure accuracy and safe operations while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse distribution and 1+ year of supervisory experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. Weekend and shift flexibility are needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• One year supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of WMS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, selection, loading, storage).
• Assign work and ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer service.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and resolve issues promptly.
• Plan staffing and scheduling to control labor costs and workload.
• Maintain KPI reporting and safety, sanitation, and security standards.
• Train and develop associates; support department goals and performance reviews.
• Assist with labor relations and administer processes as needed.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate updates to the team.
