Job summary

SpartanNash Severn, MD is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a team of distribution associates. The role focuses on shipping, receiving, selection, loading and storage with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

The candidate will schedule workloads, monitor KPI metrics, enforce safety, and train staff, partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED).
• Three years Warehouse distribution experience preferred.
• One year Supervisory or lead experience required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to use MS Office and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse department activities (shipping, receiving, selection, loading, storage).
• Schedule and assign work to associates; monitor productivity, accuracy and safety.
• Maintain warehouse KPI data and ensure health, safety, and security of the work environment.
• Train staff; coordinate pre-shift meetings; assist with labor and process changes as needed.
