Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Texas seeks a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and provide backup to the supervisor. The role covers shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions as needed.

You will train forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification, complete shipping paperwork, participate in cycle counts, and help ensure safety inspections, SQFI/FDA readiness, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months supervisory experience.
• Must be able to operate a reach truck, EPJ, and sit-down forklift.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be flexible with hours including OT and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train teammates to fulfill daily tasks in addition to lead's tasks.
• Provide backup to the supervisor as needed.
• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct observations and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
