Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates while performing the Lead's duties across shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory control. The role supports a safety-focused, efficient distribution operation with opportunities to advance within a dynamic 3PL environment.

The position requires forklift operation certification, leadership experience, and readiness to ensure safety and accuracy in daily tasks, cycle counts, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks and support the Lead's own duties.
• Lead may oversee shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and material handling.
• Provide backup to supervisors as needed and participate in safety and training activities.
• Conduct PIT (powered industrial truck) and annual recertification training for staff.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure compliance with SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Assist with inventory cycles, paperwork, and production reporting.
