Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Texas to coach and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators, while backing up supervisors as needed. The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory, and safety compliance in a dynamic distribution environment.

The position requires at least 2 years in warehouse operations and 6 months of leadership experience, with a valid forklift license or ability to obtain one. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Provide backup to supervisor and support multiple warehouse functions.
• Perform safety checks, inspections, and daily PIT operations with equipment.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Support product rotation, incident reporting, and daily production reporting.
