Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, lead daily tasks, and back up supervisory duties. The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory control, and related warehouse functions, with emphasis on safety and process compliance.

The Lead will train new staff, conduct PIT certification, perform observations, and ensure accurate paperwork and inventory reporting while supporting various departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products/materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking labels and related paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections per forklift safety checklist.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
