Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, covering shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions. The Lead may also provide backup to the supervisor as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of warehouse operations experience and 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience, plus a licensed forklift operator certification. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct observations on performance and maintenance.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution and store materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Inspect forklifts daily per Safety Checklist and ensure inspection readiness.
