Job summary

Kenco Group is hiring a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, including forklift operators, and to back up the supervisor as needed. The role covers multiple warehousing functions such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The position emphasizes safety compliance, equipment operation, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for growth within a leading 3PL provider in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution experience and 6 months related leadership or supervisory experience/training.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers; provide backup to supervisor as needed.
• Conduct PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) and annual recertification training.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Participate in cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and ensure SQFI/FDA compliance.
