Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and guide warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, and to back up the supervisor as needed. The role covers shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, and general warehouse functions in a fast-paced environment.

The Lead will train new staff, conduct PIT and annual recertifications, perform safety checks, and ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements. A forklift license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years in warehouse/distribution operations and at least 6 months of leadership/supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Provide backup to the supervisor and cover related duties as needed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG, etc.).
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and keep the facility inspection-ready for audits.
• Review production reports and communicate incidents or issues to supervision.
