Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor in Woodbridge, VA to direct daily warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, inventory control, and equipment maintenance.

You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and coordinate with Receiving and Inventory teams to keep stores stocked efficiently. The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct the day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
• Responsible for warehouse storage and staging related to Storage Buy transactions and receiving errors.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and OSHA compliance across the facility.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate efficient warehouse operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist.
