Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Team Lead, Warehouse to coordinate daily warehouse operations, supervise a designated team, and ensure the safe handling of products.

You will train staff, monitor productivity, support process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A high school diploma and forklift/MHE background are required; some travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 2-3 years forklift experience.
• Current or prior MHE certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity, accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Load orders efficiently according to doors and trailers.
• Research discrepancies in shipping/receiving processes.
• Train new and existing associates on SOPs (shipping, receiving, picking, quality control).
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Assist with problem-solving and escalate issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Ensure proper use of equipment and PPE and safety adherence.
• Perform regular quality and inventory checks to minimize errors.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• Maintain clear communications between shifts and departments.
