Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Miami is seeking a Team Lead, Warehouse to supervise daily warehouse activities, coordinate a designated team, and ensure accurate, efficient handling of goods. You will support the Supervisor in maintaining workflow, productivity, and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in logistics, forklift experience, and current MHE certification.

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
Must adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Efficiently load orders according to the correct doors and trailers.
Train new and existing associates on SOPs.
Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
Assist with problem-solving and elevate issues to Supervisor or Manager as needed.
Ensure proper use of equipment and PPE and adherence to safety policies.
Perform regular quality and inventory checks to minimize errors and damages.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and engagement.
