Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the United States to coordinate daily warehouse activities, lead a team, and ensure efficient, accurate operations. The role supports a 5:00 am - 2:00 pm shift with occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

You will drive continuous improvement, enforce safety, and work with cross-functional teams to meet performance targets and customer commitments.

Qualifications

3+ years of recent experience in a warehouse environment.
2+ years in a supervisory role.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Responsibilities

Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members.
Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet KPIs.
Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
Verify paperwork and accurately complete all necessary records and reports.
Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage, count all products, and maintain the product locator system.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve service levels.
Be flexible to work extended hours, weekends and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
