Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Lead to oversee daily inventory processes, cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations. You will coach staff, drive accuracy, and ensure data integrity in the WMS while partnering with operations and receiving teams.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST, with opportunities to optimize workflows, reduce discrepancies, and contribute to continuous improvement in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse inventory control experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Effective communication and team leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed; degree in logistics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop inventory team members to drive performance and accountability.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and data integrity within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, shipping, and receiving teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data and reports to identify trends, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
