Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Contract Logistics Warehouse Lead in the United States (New York area). You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring safety and cost efficiency across warehouse operations.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will manage a team of warehouse associates, operate material handling equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows. Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, paid weekly at $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Basic technical and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to improve operations and processes.
• Operate material handling equipment.
• Lead a team of Warehouse Associates.
• Foster a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel included, valued, and safe.
• Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment.
• Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property.
• Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program.
• Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped.
• Follow health and safety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations.
• Be available to work overtime and weekends.
