Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in USA (Bensenville, IL) is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely movement of goods. You will lead staff, coordinate activities, and implement process improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus a solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic physical inventory counts.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and standards are followed, and that all employees are trained on safe operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory, equipment, or personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. transportation, customer service) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
