Triple-S Steel in Arizona is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and on-time delivery of materials. The role enforces health and safety requirements and audits inventory, while coordinating maintenance of facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, optimizing operations and controlling costs, ensuring accurate cycle counts, and maintaining quality assurance across logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years in a supervisory capacity within a service center or warehouse.
• A College Degree is preferred.
• MSDS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains receiving, shipping, inventory control and production work cells by coordinating and enforcing procedures.
• Controls scrap and inventory levels by overseeing cycle counts and reconciling with perpetual records.
• Recruits, orients, plans and trains staff; monitors performance.
• Achieves branch financial objectives by minimizing costs and scheduling expenditures.
• Ensures sales orders are issued, picked, processed, shipped and invoiced timely.
• Develops vendor evaluation criteria and reviews vendors for adherence.
• Maintains warehouse operations, equipment, and layout for efficient throughput.
• Interacts with customers, vendors and service providers in the best interest of the company.
