Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee distribution center operations, supervise staff, liaise with customers and suppliers, and maintain safety and inventory standards.

You will coordinate shifts, ensure accurate order fulfillment, review transfers and POs, and drive process improvements with a focus on efficiency and reliability. Excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to safety are essential in this hands-on role supporting our

Qualifications

• Ability to read work orders or receive oral instructions.
• Meet or exceed productivity levels.
• Plan work activities independently and in a team.
• Develop knowledge of product and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain cross-department communications about routing, safety and customer relations.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.
• Show MS Office data entry proficiency.
• Experience with steel plates.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work methods and report unsafe conditions.
• Conduct evening gate checks and secure premises.
• Support picking, packing, and delivering orders.
• Maintain daily equipment inspections.
• Review incoming transfers and purchase orders.
• Verify outgoing orders for accuracy.
• Create shipping logs and pre-load trucks.
• Prepare bill of lading for drivers.
• Attach MTRs to orders.
• Report shortages and ensure coverage for customers.
• Report incidents with drivers.
• Perform cycle counts to resolve discrepancies.
• Lead morning safety talks.
• Other duties as assigned.
