Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead distribution activities including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking and packing.

The role combines hands-on floor work with supervisory responsibilities to meet productivity, quality and on-time shipment goals. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3 years in distribution (steel distribution preferred); AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years’ experience in a distribution environment (preferably steel distribution).
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse personnel are assigned to the appropriate work areas throughout the working day to meet deadlines for all processes.
• Directing production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety so that goals are met.
• Reviewing schedules, determining work force requirements, and monitoring productivity to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Make decisions regarding workflow throughout the day to ensure daily operational objectives are met.
• Monitor on an established basis, operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met.
• Ensure all established Triple S Steel polices are enforced and followed by all employees.
• Assist with training new employees in safety, proper work assignments, and job responsibilities.
• Entry of incident reports.
• INVEX Support.
• Other duties as assigned.
