Job summary

Triple-S Steel in Pharr, TX seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to manage all distribution processes, including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking, packing and returns. This role will lead warehouse staff, ensure on-time shipments, and drive productivity, quality and safety to meet company objectives.

You will oversee scheduling, workflow decisions, and daily operations while maintaining strong focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• 2–4 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably with a metals, fabrication or manufacturing background.
• Welding & sawing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse personnel are assigned to the appropriate work areas throughout the working day in order to meet deadlines for all processes.
• Directing production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety so that goals are met.
• Reviewing schedules, determining work force requirements, and monitoring productivity to insure customer requirements are met.
• Make decisions regarding work flow throughout the day to ensure daily operational objectives are met.
• Monitor on an established basis, operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met
• Troubleshooting operational and maintenance problems and taking preventive and/or corrective action.
• Ensure all established Triple S Steel polices are enforced and followed by all employees. Such as, but not limited to; Quality Policy, Security, Safety, Health, Environmental, Attendance and all other policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring shipping deadlines are met.
