Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. in Arizona is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. You will ensure safety compliance and maintain inventory accuracy while leading a team.

The role covers reducing costs, supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining equipment and facilities. A high school diploma and 5+ years in warehouse operations with supervisory experience are preferred; College degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years Equivalent Work experience in a Service Center with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• A College Degree is preferred.
• MSDS experience is a plus.
• Excellent Verbal communication skills are a must.
• Solid Computer, MS OFFICE Skills are a must.
• Strong Organization skills, and follow up skills are very practical.
• Experience in Budget development and management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains receiving, shipping, Inventory Control and Production Work Cells by installing, coordinating, and enforcing departmental programs and Operational Work Instructions and procedures.
• Controls Scrap, Inventory Levels and accuracy by overseeing physical ‘cycle counts’ and reconciling with perpetual Inventory records.
• Recruits, orients, plans, and trains staff as well as monitors employee performance.
• Achieves Branch Financial Objectives by minimizing costs, O/T, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and installing ‘financial checks and balances’.
• Assures Sales Orders are issued, picked, processed, shipped and invoiced in a timely fashion.
• Develops Vendor Evaluation criteria and regularly reviews Vendors for adherence.
• Maintains warehouse & logistics operations, equipment, capacities and capabilities by Production Planning and Measurement, routine inspection and repair of in-house machinery and equipment, and the regular review of warehouse layout and throughput.
• Interacts with various customers, vendors, and service providers in the best interest of the company.
