Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all distribution processes, including shipping, put-away, cycle counting, picking, packing and returns. The role involves working on the warehouse floor as needed and leading a team to meet KPIs for productivity, quality and on-time shipments.

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plan, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in a distribution environment (preferably steel distribution).
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse personnel are assigned to the appropriate work areas throughout the working day to meet deadlines for all processes.
• Directing production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety so that goals are met.
• Reviewing schedules, determining workforce requirements, and monitoring productivity to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Make decisions regarding workflow throughout the day to ensure daily operational objectives are met.
• Monitor on an established basis, operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met.
• Ensure all established Triple S Steel policies are enforced and followed by all employees.
• Assist with training new employees in safety, proper work assignments, and job responsibilities.
