RJW Logistics Group, Plainfield, IL, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a shift, ensure safe, accurate and on-time product movement, and develop the team on the floor. The role emphasizes safety, quality and productivity with a strong people-development focus.

You will coach a diverse team, plan daily work, ensure accurate picking and shipping, maintain proper documentation, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team while upholding safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in high-volume operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS); strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Clear and confident communication; ability to set expectations and collaborate with internal/external teams.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and hands-on operation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with customer specifications and RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments and other paperwork).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse, driving continuous improvement.
• Partner with Customer Solutions/Customer Service and other supervisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth shift handoffs for associates and customers.
