Job summary

Komatsu seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the Mesa Parts Distribution Center startup and ongoing operations. You will lead a team to execute receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will develop team capability, implement standard work and drive continuous improvement while collaborating across shifts to meet facility goals and ramp-up milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics or related operational experience.
• Prior experience leading people in a team-based environment.
• Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Ability to lead through change in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple demands.
• Demonstrated ability to build engagement and trust across diverse teams.
• Intermediate computer skills with warehouse management or similar systems.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost objectives.
• Promote safety culture through engagement, observations, audits, 5S, hazard ID and corrective actions.
• Support implementation and standardization of processes, procedures and work instructions as ramping up.
• Develop, coach and engage team members; foster a respectful, inclusive, and accountable workplace.
• Ensure adherence to established standards of work, procedures and policies.
• Assist onboarding, training and development of new hires to build capability.
• Identify operational challenges, analyze root causes and partner with leadership for improvements.
• Champion change management and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Protect assets and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with other departments and shifts for effective hand-offs and goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate safety and priorities.
