Job summary

Updike-Distribution-Logistic seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and daily warehouse activities. You will lead a team, ensure safe handling of goods, and coordinate with drivers and customers from our Phoenix facility.

Required are 4+ years in warehouse management, 3+ years forklift use, and a high school diploma. You will train staff, enforce SOPs, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years experience managing within a warehouse environment.
• At least 3 years experience operating a forklift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas.
• Manage periodic maintenance of equipment, fixtures and warehouse fabric.
• Develop and maintain a productive work team through training and development.
• Establish and promote high standards of customer service.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse personnel.
• Maintain effective internal control over product flow and inventory.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs for safe handling of goods.
• Interpret policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Participate in selection and onboarding of new personnel.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and delegation capabilities.
