Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. The role leads and develops staff, sets performance goals, and drives safety, quality, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will coach teams, monitor KPIs, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate across functions to optimize processes. A strong focus on OSHA safety and hands-on leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory/management experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and motivate employees while fostering a team environment.
• OSHA safety knowledge and commitment to safe practices.
• Ability to drive process improvements and KPI-driven performance.
• Excellent communication and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor work to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, and service levels.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and replenishment processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations; promote a safe environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Step into hands-on operational tasks as needed.
