Job summary

Komatsu America Corp. in Mesa, Arizona seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead strategic HR initiatives for our Mesa Parts Distribution Center. You will guide workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

You will partner with site leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support expansion, enhance engagement, and foster a high‑performing, inclusive culture in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required; Master's or HR certification preferred.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments; at least 3 years as HRBP or HR leader.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals in fast-paced, operational settings.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change, foster inclusive workplaces, and manage complex employee relations issues.
• HRIS proficiency and use of workforce analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
• High integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead HR activities with site leadership to drive business objectives and expansion.
• Analyze organization structures for improvements, succession planning, and talent development.
• Use labor market data to forecast trends, improve productivity, and enhance retention programs.
• Guide leaders on performance appraisal techniques and fair disciplinary procedures.
• Design recruitment strategies to attract diverse candidates for hourly and salaried roles; align staffing with business needs.
• Drive compliance with labor laws and company policies; manage HRIS data and reporting.
• Mentor leaders, develop HR programs, and lead during startup/growth phases for scalable workforce development.
• Oversee workforce planning, compensation structures, and Global HR initiatives in collaboration with Legal, Safety, and Corporate HR.
