Job summary

Client Organization seeks a Shift Lead to act as the operational lead on the warehouse floor, mirroring a Supervisor’s support role. You will direct hourly staff, manage workflow to meet SLAs, and drive productivity with a focus on safety and quality.

You will train employees, support onboarding, and lead daily operational communications while ensuring documentation and lean initiatives are followed. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or fulfillment center preferred.
• Experience in leadership roles such as lead, supervisor, or process assistant.
• Experience in automated/tech-enabled warehouse environments is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations and provide work direction to hourly team members.
• Coordinate labor and workflow to meet productivity goals and KPIs.
• Lead shift start-up meetings and maintain clear operational communications.
• Train, coach, and mentor staff on procedures, safety, and system processes.
• Maintain records, update work instructions, and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and promote continuous improvement.
