Job summary

HRforGrowth is conducting a search for a Shift Lead in the warehouse environment. The role focuses on ensuring controlled, safe, and efficient operations while assisting supervisors in coaching and developing team members.

Responsibilities include assigning work, aligning methods and labor to meet service deliverables, and collaborating across departments to meet KPIs and client SLAs. The role emphasizes training, safety, LEAN activities, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 4-year college degree preferred.
• 2 years of warehouse leadership experience preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience and use of warehouse automation equipment (RF, Voice) a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Excellent math, reading, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in directing work to team members.
• Help determine production methods and staffing to meet service deliverables and KPI targets.
• Coordinate with supervisors, team members, and other departments to meet client SLA.
• Train and coach employees; provide performance feedback to supervisors.
• Support ISO audits and LEAN activities; promote 5-S and safety policies.
• Update work instructions and process flows; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
