Job summary

McLane Company is hiring a Warehouse Selector to join our distributed warehouse team in Oregon. The role involves selecting products, loading trucks, and moving items throughout the facility using reach trucks and pallet jacks.

You will verify documents, ensure accuracy, and maintain safety and cleanliness across multiple warehouse zones including Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, and Freezer. We provide freezer gear and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more and perform accurate visual inspections.
• 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move product between loading dock and warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to pick, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Review documents; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep work area clean; perform other duties as assigned.
• May work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas; McLane provides freezer gear.
