Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our Cordele, GA operation. You will load trucks, move product between dock and warehouse, and work in various areas including Dry, Refrigerated, and Perishables. We provide freezer gear and emphasize safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic English literacy, ability to lift 50 lbs, and may involve operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and a forklift. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English for task performance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving between dock and warehouse and within the warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
