Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee security personnel on a designated shift at a client site. You will coordinate tasks, enforce post orders, and ensure service quality.

You will conduct team briefings, respond to incidents, monitor CCTV and patrols, and document events with clear written reports. This role demands strong communication, calm decision-making, and attention to safety and client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs neatly.
• Must read and understand operating procedures.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with at least one year driving experience and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage security personnel.
• Assign tasks, delegate duties, and monitor performance.
• Conduct briefings with the team.
• Daily briefings may be held by shift supervisors.
• Respond to incidents and notify authorities/clients.
• Monitor security systems and CCTV; perform regular patrols.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• File reports as required.
• Interview, hire, and train security staff; cover training topics.
• Keep daily records of security-related incidents.
