Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to oversee the delivery of security services on a specific shift at an assigned site. The role acts as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager and officers, supervising staff, coaching, and ensuring adherence to post orders.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of security experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to prepare concise reports.

Qualifications

• Must have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment
• Driving positions require a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Manage security personnel on assigned shift, including task assignment and performance monitoring
• Conduct daily briefings with the team
• Respond to security incidents and notify authorities and clients as needed
• Monitor security systems and CCTV and perform regular patrols
• Ensure post orders are followed and complete established rounds
• File required reports and maintain daily incident records
• Train security staff, including new hires, on safety and security procedures
• Keep records of security-related incidents and activities
