Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Memphis, TN is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and Kenco safety programs. The role oversees Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training and PPE programs and supervises up to two PIT trainers.

You will develop and facilitate safety training, conduct audits, partner with Operations to advance safety initiatives, and support incident investigations. Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combo in safety/management.
• At least 6 months supervisory safety leadership experience.
• Experience in warehousing or distribution preferred.
• Prior safety field experience as a safety specialist, technician, or trainer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs.
• Conduct safety audits of facilities and equipment.
• Partner with Operations to support safety initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain site safety policies and training records.
• Support internal audits to ensure quality management compliance.
