Job summary

Kenco Group in Mississippi seeks a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and programs. You will manage Powered Industrial Truck training and PPE programs and supervise up to two PIT Trainers, with responsibilities including incident analysis and corrective actions.

You will partner with Operations to promote safety initiatives, maintain documentation, and support audits and continuous improvement within the quality management system.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience in safety leadership.
• Experience in warehousing, distribution, or related preferred.
• Prior experience as a safety specialist, technician, or trainer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs.
• Support safety initiatives with Operations and teams.
• Conduct safety audits of equipment, dock, housekeeping, and conditions.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain site safety policies and internal audit programs.
• Support external investigations and regulatory compliance.
