Job summary

Kenco Group in Olive Branch, MS, is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and Kenco safety programs. The role oversees Powered Industrial Truck Training and PPE programs and supervises up to two PIT Trainers, with potential involvement of temporary staff during workload fluctuations.

Responsibilities include developing safety training, conducting audits, partnering with Operations on safety initiatives, and leading incident investigations to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, occupational health and safety, HR or engineering or 2–5 years in logistics
• Minimum of six months supervisory safety leadership experience
• Experience in warehousing or distribution preferred
• Experience as safety specialist, technician, or trainer

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs
• Conduct safety audits of fire equipment, dock, housekeeping, racks, materials, electrical systems
• Partner with Operations to support safety initiatives
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain site safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Administer internal audit program to ensure compliance with quality management system
• Identify training needs and organize training interventions
