Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Safety Supervisor to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and programs. You’ll supervise Powered Industrial Truck Trainers and support training across operations, with potential QA collaboration on Whirlpool network sites.

The role emphasizes development of safety initiatives, incident analysis, and ongoing safety program enhancements to protect personnel and assets. Travel and site-specific duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–5 years in logistics or manufacturing management with safety focus.
• Supervisory experience in safety programs and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and local safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate safety training programs for the site.
• Conduct safety audits of equipment, dock, housekeeping, and electrical areas.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Assist the Safety Manager and Operations Managers on special safety projects.
• Maintain regulatory reporting documents and monitor at-risk behaviors.
