Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Chattanooga, TN to coach and train warehouse staff and back up supervisors. You will oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, packaging, and material handling while safely operating PIT equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in warehouse operations, 6 months of leadership experience, and a forklift license or ability to obtain one. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates; back up supervisor as needed.
• Lead shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, or material handling operations as assigned.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely to move products for distribution; load, unload, store materials.
• Complete paperwork per SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG, etc.).
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and ensure proper product rotation.
• Review and analyze daily production or operation reports and support other roles as needed.
